Dr. Abbey Krienke – Dentist
The Heart Behind Every Smile
Dr. Abbey was born and raised in Pierce, Nebraska. She graduated from University of Nebraska Medical College of Dentistry in 2011. Dr. Abbey is a member of the American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association, Lincoln District Dental Association, Spear Study Club, Mommy Dentists in Business, Capitol Study Club, and co-founder of a Women Dentist Group for Lincoln. We are also proud to share that Dr. Abbey was awarded the Nebraska Dental Association Young Professional of the year for 2022!
Dr. Abbey says, "Each day I strive to help my patients feel empowered to make the best decisions for a healthy smile. I love taking care of my patients and seeing smiles transformed."
In her free time, she enjoys going to local coffee shops and art galleries around Lincoln. She also enjoys being out in nature at a park or working in the garden. Apart from work she enjoys time with her husband, Brian, her daughter, Atefeh, and sons, Theo and Benjamin.
Vicki – Office Manager
The Friendly Face Keeping Us Running Smoothly
Vicki is our exceptional Office Manager, bringing over 20 years of experience in the dental field. Her background includes dental assisting, front office operations, and extensive knowledge of dental insurance. We’ve been fortunate to have her as part of the Prairie Dental team since 2009. Outside the office, Vicki and her husband, Paul, stay active with their two children, Aria and Gavin, juggling after-school sports, family camping trips, and quality time with loved ones. She also shares her passion for mentoring youth as a small group leader at Capitol City Christian Church.
Kasey – Dental Hygienist
The Calm Voice in Your Dental Journey
Meet Kasey, one of our outstanding registered dental hygienists. Growing up in a military family, Kasey experienced life on both coasts before settling in Nebraska. She graduated from Central Community College in Hastings in 2013 and now calls Lincoln home. When she’s not caring for smiles, Kasey enjoys boating, camping, interior decorating, real-estate investing, baking, and traveling with her husband Josh and their two young children.
Stacia – Dental Assistant
The Comfort Creator
Stacia, our fabulous Dental Assistant, has been in the dental field for 30 years! She thrives on patient care and helping people feel at ease. Stacia's journey began at Southeast Community College in Early Childhood Education, leading her to work in a pediatric dental office, where she trained on the job and completed certifications at Creighton University. She’s a proud mom to her son Paxton and twin daughters, Charlee and Alivia. In her free time, Stacia loves being with family and friends, going to the pool and lake, watching movies, and listening to music.
Laura – Dental Hygienist
Gentle Hands, Caring Heart
Laura, a Registered Dental Hygienist, is a member of our hygiene team. Our hygiene team excels at providing quality, up-to-date education and friendly, comfortable hygiene maintenance. Laura is our part-time hygienist on Mondays, but can also be found helping out the office "behind the scenes" in other ways throughout the week.
Laura grew up in Lincoln and attended the University of Nebraska, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. After doing lab work for a year, she found her true calling in health care and decided on dental hygiene. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln in 2005.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, and two school-age boys, Ben and Sam. She also keeps busy with her dog, Ace, and loves to get outside and go for walks. Other hobbies include cooking, camping, gardening, photography and traveling.
Jamie – Dental Hygienist
Your Partner in a Healthy Smile
Jamie, a valued member of our hygiene team, is committed to providing friendly, up-to-date dental care with a focus on patient comfort. Originally from Hastings, she moved to Lincoln for college, earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Nebraska Wesleyan before pursuing dental hygiene at UNMC’s College of Dentistry. She graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. In her free time, Jamie loves being active outdoors with her husband Austin, traveling, and cheering for Nebraska Volleyball and the Denver Nuggets. She also enjoys time with her cat, Milo.
